The goals of Hālāwai are:

• to provide information through a community resource website;

• to promote cultural, educational, networking events and mentoring opportunities in the greater New York area; and

• to partner with local, Hawaiian and other Pacific Island-based organizations to exchange and share information and ideas and coordinate events and activities.
