Hula Class for Kids
Spring 2008

"Keiki" means "kid" or "child" in Hawaiian. Using a mix of live and recorded music, two incredible teachers from Hawai`i will teach Hawaiian dance and songs here on the island of Manhattan. Through dancing and singing, your keiki(s) will be introduced to the beauty of the Hawaiian culture and enjoy the spirit of ALOHA.

Age: Boys & Girls from 4 to 5 years
Time: 6:00-6:50PM
Dates: 7 Fridays – April 4 & 18, May 2, 16 & 23, June 13 & 27

Teachers: Mr. Harry Ramos and Mr. Tommy Cheng (both from Hawaii) will beour main instructors. Harry is graduating from Baruch College with an early childhood education degree and teaching at their Early Leaning Center. Tommy is working at the Children's Museum of Native Americans in NYC. They both have been teaching hula to toddlers at preschools in NYC and Hawaii for years.
