Bethany Matai Edmunds presents her thesis from her MA in Costume Studies, entitled "HE KĀKAHU MĀORI: Māori Cloaks in American Museums; Conservation, Storage and Display"

Come along and learn more about these Māori treasures that are housed in four East Coast Museums and how their existence encapsulates traditional knowledge while broaching topics like repatriation, representation and consultation with Indigenous communities. A must for all weavers and artisans.
