Meet our Awardees
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we created #NYPacificIslandTime to virtually strengthen ties between New York City and Hawaiʻi through cultural connection and artistic inspiration. This program celebrates the connections between Hawaiʻi and the Pacific Island diasporic communities of the New York region. Our goal was to recognize artists whose livelihoods have been most urgently impacted by COVID-19. You can learn more about each awardee below.
